Royal Asport Cycleworks is a bespoke bicycle maker, specializing in handcrafted gravel and road bikes. Our frames are made in Italy and assembled in the Pyrenees.

What is the “Royal Asport lifestyle”?

The Royal Asport lifestyle includes cycling apparel and accessories, sports and culinary trips through the Pyrenees, celebrating the region's rich cycling heritage.

Where are your bicycles made?

Our frames are handcrafted and painted in Italy, and assembled in our workshop in the Pyrenees.

Do you offer a warranty on your bikes?

Yes, we offer a 5-year warranty on our frames against manufacturing defects for the original owner. Plus the legal warranty on all the parts, of course.

What makes your bicycles unique?

Each Royal Asport bike is a limited edition, made-to-measure, custom assembly, and equipped with a tamper-proof Apple® AirTag tracker for security.

Do you have a physical store?

We operate through our online store and our partner shops. Visit our website for the growing list of partner locations.

Customization and Ordering

How can I order a custom bike?

You can configure and order your custom bike through our website by following the "How to Configure" section.

What is the lead time for a custom bike?

The lead time varies based on the model and the customization options. From 6 to 8 weeks is our goal. Please contact us for specific details.

How do I get my bicycle?

Depending on your own wish, either directly at your door, at our local partner shop if there is one, or at your favorite bike shop.

What materials do you use for your frames?

Our frames are primarily crafted from high-quality steel or carbon fiber, chosen for their durability, light weight, and performance.

Can I customize the frame geometry?

Yes, each Royal Asport bicycle is made-to-measure, allowing you to customize the frame geometry to suit your riding style and preferences.

Can I customize the frame design?

Yes. With our 3 bespoke models: Gravel, Allroad, or Road, you can choose to have a frame with an integrated seat post (steel or carbon, your choice), or external cable routing, or integrated cockpit...

Can I customize the frame painting?

Our steel frames come in the Royal Asport's trademark finish: Raw steel, to highlight the work of our framebuilder. In option, you have a choice of 4 different color schemes including our iconic "Gulf" paint. Of course, you can also specify your own paint scheme and decoration.

What braking systems do you offer?

We offer both rim brakes and disc brakes, providing flexibility based on your riding preferences and terrain. Our 2 Gravel models are disc brakes only, our 2 Road models rim brakes only. Our Allroad bikes are available either with disc or rim brakes, making it the most versatile model of our portfolio!

Do you offer electronic shifting options?

Yes, we offer electronic shifting systems from leading manufacturers, providing precise and fast gear changes.

Which electronic groupsets do you offer?

SRAM AXS and XPLR AXS, Shimano Di2, Campagnolo Wireless and EPS, FSA WE. Big names, proven technologies.

Do you offer mechanical shifting options?

Yes, of course. For instance, our pre-configured Gravel bike is offered with the mid and top-range mechanical shifting systems from the leading manufacturers.

Which mechanical groupsets do you offer?

We do offer all the mechanical groupsets from the big guys: SRAM, Shimano Campagnolo.

Which "exotic" builds do you offer?

Depending on your bike and your type of ride, we can offer you some Ingrid build (crankset, rear derailleur), or FSA wireless groupset, or the fantastic Rotor 1x13 hydraulic groupset together with the amazing Duke World Runner carbon wheelset...

Why do you love the Rotor 1x13 so much?

We at Royal Asport Cycleworks we love to "think different". And we love offering unique builds with the "wow" effect to our clients. So, the Rotor 1x13 groupset has it all : It's different, because it's 100% hydraulic, and it generates the wow effect.
Plus, the cool factor: We can offer you a 2x13 drivetrain for your Gravel or Allroad bike: The Rotor 1x13 combined with the Classified system. Cool, huh?

What wheel sizes are available for your bikes?

Our bikes are available as standard in 700c wheel sizes. Of course, our Gravel models and the Allroad disc model can be used with 650b wheels, for a different riding styles thanks to the bigger tires.

Can I choose different tire widths for my bike?

Yes, you can customize the tire width based on your riding preferences and terrain conditions. Just keep in mind the following: Our Gravel bikes are designed for 700x47c tires clearance, the Allroad disc-version for 700x35c, the Allroad rim-version 700x30c, and both Road models for 700x28c.

What accessories come with a Royal Asport bike?

Each Royal Asport bicycle includes a tamper-proof Apple® AirTag tracker for security, 2 bottle cages, and a pair of top-notch pedals (depending on the model, indeed).

Do you offer options for bike racks or additional mounts?

Yes, we offer customization options on our bespoke Gravel bike model, for racks, mounts, and other accessories to enhance your cycling experience.

What is the Adoptagravel section?

The Adoptagravel section offers a diverse selection of gravel routes that traverse scenic landscapes and terrain, catering to both novice and experienced riders.

What is the 7 Climbs challenge?

The 7 Climbs Challenge features the seven routes to La Pierre Saint-Martin pass, each one with its own difficulty and scenic beauty, challenging cyclists to conquer each ascent and achieve a cumulative elevation goal.

How can I participate in the 7 Climbs Challenge?

To participate, register on our website and choose your preferred challenge. You'll receive detailed route maps, elevation profiles, and your Club des Pecs de la Pierre membership.

Are there any rewards for completing any of the 3 formulas of the 7 Climbs Challenge?

Participants receive a virtual achievement badge, and recognition on our website upon successfully completing their chosen challenge.

What does the Hike & Bike Tour entail?

The Hike & Bike Tour blends challenging cycling routes with scenic hiking trails, providing a holistic outdoor adventure. The Hike & Bike Tour is a fully private event, up to 4 participants for a better experience.
